About Me

Welcome to my portfolio! I recently completed a placement year as a Statistical Programming Student at UCB Pharma and I am currently at the University of Reading, completing the final year of my BSc in Mathematics.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy weightlifting, basketball, piano, and astrophysics. I plan on continuing to develop my skills in the domain of data analytics, data science and machine learning.

Projects & Open Source Contributions

SCRAP (CubeSat Project):
Appointed as software co-lead for SCRAP, a student-led initiative aiming to launch a CubeSat to predict space debris trajectories. Aiding in the design of ML architecture and data pipeline in Python, working alongside physics and aerospace students from around the world.

Titanic SurvivR:
Deployed an interactive Shiny web app using ML to predict if the user would have survived the Titanic shipwreck, utilising logistic regression and tree-based models. Includes dynamic visuals, ROC-AUC comparisons, and feature impact insights.

gridify (CRAN)
Contributed by aiding unit testing, documentation and validation of an R package for the simple and uniform addition of text elements to figures and tables, which was developed during placement year.

DescTools
Contributed a small bug fix to this widely used statistics package — a function would return an error if a specific statistic type was specified.
